The combat shirt is a combination of the original Bundeswehr two-layer undershirt and the KSK Commando Field Blouse.
The inner undershirt made of 68% cotton and 32% polyamide is very comfortable to wear and offers excellent heat and moisture regulation. The sleeve and shoulder parts of the KSK Commando Field Blouse made of 65% cotton and 35% polyester are attached to this. The collar can also be opened or closed using a hook&loop fastener. On the underside of the collar there is another hook&loop strip to fix the collar as a windbreaker in an upright position. Two hook&loop strips on the chest for attaching rank badges. Below the nationality badges on the sleeve are large sleeve pockets on both sides with hook&loop fasteners and dust protection folds as well as a lifting loop for easier opening with gloves. The sleeve pocket has a 10 x 14.5 cm ID panel for patches. Sleeve ends with hook&loop fasteners on the wrist.
